Antibiotic Resistance Gene Finder henceforth abbreviated ABRES Finder is a consortium of antibiotic resistance genes where one can get all the relevant information regarding antibiotic resistance at single stop. Currently ABRES Finder is focussed about the prevalence of antibiotic resistance in India.

Aim & Scope

• ABRES is centralized on specific genes in microorganism which causes the phenomenon of antibiotic resistance.


• We aim to provide a complete set of information about resistance genes, sub-family of the genes, mechanism of antibiotic resistance and organism.


• Periodic addition of new resistance genes and sub-types will be done in the database.
