Microcalorimetry Facility

The Microcalorimetric facility houses an isothermal titration calorimeter (NanoiTC low volume) and a differential scanning calorimeter (Nano DSC).

 

These are ultrasensitive calorimetry instruments, that can measure very small heat changes with small sample volumes. With the help of this facility we can study the binding interactions between molecules, and conformational changes such as protein unfolding.
